Landscapes

German | Landscape photography is portrait photography of the earth. Whenever I look at landscapes, I see softly rolling hills like the cheek of a toddler, and I see deep carves and scars telling from past times, deep and mysterious lights and shadows as well as curly and jumpy reflections... In short: landscapes show the skin of the organism called earth.

I encounter landscapes with great respect, and I do not seek for the most beautiful picture, but for the most expressive. Beauty is only skin deep, character goes to the bone. I am looking for expressions of that character, and I hope you discover some of it in my pictures!
